Denise Hoell, PT

Denise graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University in 1991 with her degree in physical therapy. In 1993 Denise began her specialty in pediatrics in her own practice in New York. In 1994 Denise and her family relocated to the Atlanta area and Special Needs Pediatric Physical Therapy was established. Denise has attained extensive continuing education in the area of pediatrics including her NDT certification in the treatment of infants and children with cerebral palsy. Her treatment experience includes infants as young as 6 weeks to adolescents, and she has practiced in out patient rehab and school system settings as well as in private practice. As the owner of Special Needs Pediatric Physical Therapy, Denise strives to provide only the highest quality of care possible to the children in her practice.

Linda D. Schultheiss, PT

Ms. Schultheiss graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University in 1982 with a degree in physical therapy. She did graduate work at New York University and Old Dominion University as well. Ms. Schultheiss has 21 years experience treating the pediatric population and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT). She has done extensive continuing education in the area of pediatrics including advanced courses in NDT. Ms. Schultheiss has treated children in a variety of setting ranging from a ChildrenÂ’s Hospital (including the neonatal intensive care unit) to outpatient clinics, early intervention and the school system. She has lectured throughout the United States on the Management of the Pediatric Foot and Ankle and the Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy. Ms. Schultheiss is the author of several articles on Normal Development and has written a home study course on Therapeutic Management of the Lower Extremity in the Neurologically Involved Child. Ms. Schultheiss has been treating children with Special Needs Pediatric Physical Therapy for the last eight years providing superior quality of care to the children in the practice.

Colleen Kearney Eyre, OTR/LL CLT

Colleen graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995 with her degree in occupational therapy. Since graduation, she has worked in various settings in the Atlanta area including hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units, inpatient, outpatient, home, and school settings.
Colleen has completed extensive continuing education in the area of pediatics including sensory integration and feeding. Her treatment experience includes premature infants during the NICU stay to adolescents.

Heather B. Roach, OTR/L

Heather graduated Cum Laude from Eastern Kentucky University in 1999 with her degree in occupational therapy. She began practicing in a variety of areas including home heath, school system, inpatient and outpatient settings before moving to pediatrics in 2001 through the school system and outpatient settings. In October 2005, Heather and her family relocated to the Atlanta area, where she continues her practice in pediatrics. She has completed continuing education in the areas of sensory integration and visual perception. Her experience includes treating children with a variety of diagnoses ages 6 weeks through adult.

Jill Feldman, OTR/L

Jill Feldman is an occupational therapist that has specialized in pediatrics since she graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University in 2001. In 2004, she earned her Sensory Integration and Praxis Test Certification (SIPT), the only standardized assessment for the evaluation of sensory processing and motor planning. In addition Jill has completed several continuing education courses including Therapeutic Listening, Beckman Oral Motor Strategies, and Handwriting without Tears. She has worked with children ages birth through 21 in home, school, and clinic based settings with varying diagnosis including but not limited to Autism/Aspergers’, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dyspraxia, Sensory Integrative Dysfunction, Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum, Cri De Chat, Down Syndrome, and Mental Retardation.

Victoria Couture, OTR/L

Victoria graduated cum laude in 1992 from the University of New Hampshire. She has had experience treating patients from neonatal through geriatrics. Victoria worked in the hospital setting in the NICU, burns, in and out patient pediatrics, psychosocial groups, home care and nursing homes. Victoria has specialized in pediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta outpatient rehabilitation for the past four years before coming to practice at Special Needs Pediatric Therapy. She has had extensive training with advanced feeding therapy, sensory integration, infant massage, handwriting without tears, and splinting. Victoria has had an opportunity to work with many diagnoses, not limited to: cerebral palsy, prematurity, erb's palsy (brachial plexus injury), feeding issues, down syndrome, autism, developmental delay, stroke, torticollis, fine motor delay, and visual perceptual deficits. Victoria has basic conversational knowledge of sign language and spanish.
